Ideal for virtual piano.
It would be useful if there was an option (set via the editor software) for the Controller to automatically power on when power is applied.
The top would be better if it was flat. And the ends should be level with the top.
The sockets on the back should be it little bit lower so that a rear extension desk/shelf can be aligned level with the top of the Controller.

And, during my weekly class, which takes place on a very nice Yamaha grand piano, my performance on the acoustic has also improved radically. Thank you for creating a truly remarkable controller!

Replaced my mom’s old upright, I was tired of spending hours placing mics and getting EQ right but couldn’t get into playing any weighted keyboards my friends had. I ordered this and the moment I played it I was convinced it was a real acoustic piano. I love this thing. It weighs alot though and is pretty bulky. There are probably others out there that do the trick but for me this is outstanding.

If you ever decide to make a VPC 2, as it is specifically designed for software based piano sounds, (and the experience of playing a real grand) then it needs to have a real grand piano action or as close as possible. I would also suggest an inbuilt SSD system so that people with PC’s or Mac’s can just hook them up and use their favourite DAW without worrying about impacting the processor or memory performance and resulting latency and drop outs. I realise portability is also the main idea, so maybe add an ssd system to the CA series or Novus Hybrids instead. I’d happily pay 3 times what you ask for the VPC 1 for a VPC 2 with those specs, to get what (in my opinion!) would be a dream concert grand experience.

could you make a new version of this keyboard, with the same keybed of the MP11 (the best hammer key mechanism
on the world market) and a flat top to be able to place a synthesiser? This would make the perfect controller piano instrument for muscians and would earn 5 stars! Thank you Alex
